Commissions

As a freelance miniatures painter I am always interested in doing commission work, although I am not accepting any army or unit commissions at this time- single figures only. I generally spend at least 10 to 15 hours on a mini for my EBay quality, and painting a squad of 10 to that level is a feat I've not yet managed to do while keeping my sanity.

If you wish to commission me to paint a mini for you, email me with the name of the mini you would like, and the name of the company which produces it, as well as any color/freehand specifications. I will get back to you via email with any questions that I have, and also my schedule. Once we figgure out exaclty what you want for the miniature I will quote you a price. Yes this is negotiable. I will not increase the price halfway through a commission ever. In return I ask that you stick to your specifications.

You can either ship me the miniature to be painted (unassembled and unprimered please) or if it's more convenient I can purchase the miniature. If I buy the miniature, I'll simply add that cost to the commission price. After the miniature is painted and based I will send pictures to you for your approval. Often I will also send work in progress shots too, so you can have input as well as share in my excitement for painting your model.

I ask for half the payment in advance, with the second half made upon completion of the mini. I am only accepting PayPal right now, as I am traveling abroad and any other method is very difficult (unless we can meet in person).

In the event that you decide not to purchase the miniature once it's completed I will refund half of your deposit, along with the price of the figure. I will keep the completed miniature, and it will most likely end up on EBay. I'm happy to make changes to a miniature if something in the pictures I send you is not satisfactory; this policy is mostly to cover random reasons you would be unable to purchase a miniature.

The images of the completed work will remain my property to be used in any way I see fit (generally posted in my gallery or printed out for classroom flyers or portfolios). The miniature as purchased by you will be for your own private use and may not be entered into any contest or in any way credited as having been painted by anyone other than myself. You may publish images of the miniature as you see fit as long as I have accreditation.

If you have any further questions, please email me at amypaintsminis@yahoo.com - I'm more than happy to get back to you.
